One of the most important aspects of co-operative living is participation. Co-ops are able to keep their housing charges low and our community safe by depending on the volunteer efforts of their members to help with the management of the co-op. Member participation is expected by all members. Before you apply for membership in a co-operative community, you should discuss with your family how you plan to adjust your lifestyle to make time to contribute to your neighbourhood. Please keep in mind that cooperative housing is a lifestyle choice and it is not for everyone. For more information on housing cooperatives please see: https://www.chf.bc.ca/living-co-op/.

When we have a vacancy, we review the applications we have on file and contact suitable applicants to interview based upon their eligibility. Appropriate financial documentation will be required to prove that minimum income requirements are met. Applications are kept on file for 6 months so it is recommended to submit a new application at that time or if your circumstances change.
